: ) Please feel free to discuss your preferences with our staff.
You will receive your official posting message by mail or fax specifying the
date and time of your Fighter Combat International adventure. Included in this
package is an outline of terminology and basic fighter maneuver concepts with
which you should become familiar prior to arrival in order maximize your adventure.
Here's what you can expect
Arrival at Fighter Combat International (Mission
Launch Time minus 2 hours)
Flight Briefing (Mission Launch Time minus 1 hour and 30 minutes)
The flight briefing begins immediately. Quick with introductions and then right
into the flight safety briefing, rules of engagement discussion and airfield operations.
The majority of your briefing will be on aerial combat concepts, skills and tactical
employment presented by one of our Fighter Combat International instructor pilots.
Immediately following the brief be ready to get some secret tips on how to defeat
your adversary from your personal instructor prior to strapping-in to the aircraft.
Flight Profile (Mission Launch Time minus 30 minutes)
Secure in the front cockpit of the Extra
300L and preflight safety checks complete, your instructor takes you airborne
with two aircraft in close formation. The formation of aircraft heads to the training
area carrying out weapon system verification and aerobatic 'warm-up' maneuvers.
Next thing you know you're ready to start multiple engagements trying some tricks
to hopefully punish your adversary with superior flying skill.

Fighter Combat International Mission Details
The type of engagements you fly vary, depending upon which of our many missions
you chose to fly that day. The sheer excitement you experience is only heightened
by your understanding of the situation and knowledge of how to defeat the bandit
before he gets you.
Finally he's made a mistake, you get him in your sights and pull the trigger.
With the sound of simulated gunfire in the cockpit and smoke billowing from the
enemy aircraft you victory roll away from your first successful dogfight. The
fight is terminated, the formation maneuvers in preparation for the next set-up
and you're ready for more.
When the mission is complete, it's back to the airfield for a military style
formation arrival and landing.

The Debrief (Landing time plus 15 minutes)
Your Fighter Combat International instructor will recreate the mission using
your quad view cockpit video, in-flight notes and engagement results. He will
highlight both good and improvement areas to be applied to your next mission or
just for you to chalk up to experience!
Remembering your Experience
In addition to your in-flight video (extra cost) and name tag, we provide you,
the fledgling fighter pilot, a certificate of achievement based upon your flying
prowess and a framed combat team photo over Niagara Falls. Memorabilia such as
hats, patches, T-shirts and much more are available at the squadron lounge. Ask
the operations personnel about both individual and bulk orders. Come and see us
at the Niagara District Airport!
